These Kid’s Olly Sleep Gummies are our favorite melatonin blend. There are differing views on the use of melatonin for children. This blend has only .5mg and also incorporates other calming vitamins like L-theanine.

I like RenewLife brand kid’s probiotics. I especially liked how I was able to get a 90-day supply for my son at a better price than other brands we have tried.

I signed up for a monthly subscription to these multi-vitamins. The container is glass, and it comes with decorative stickers. Then when you get your monthly subscription, it comes in a little packet. It is easier on the environment, and my son enjoyed decorating it when it came in!

When my son started to really struggle with self-regulation, I tried the Ninja Life Hacks with him. He really likes to read them!

‘What Should Danny Do’ was recommended from a therapist we were working with. It is like a choose your own adventure book for kids. There are multiple endings to the story, depending on the choices made. This version comes with a poster we have up in my son’s room to remember he always has the power to choose how he reacts to life.

My son identified experiencing anxiety, specifically about going to school and all of the demands of everyday life. We find it helpful to read and incorporate the tools for calming down with ‘A Little Spot of Anxiety’.

‘Ruby Finds a Worry’ was given to us from my mom. It talks about how a worry can come from nowhere and grow and grow until it becomes out of control. It gives guidance on how to make the worry smaller again.

‘The Pigeon Has to go to School’ is particularly helpful if your child has anxiety about school or expresses, they just don’t want to go. I learned about this one while working in a school with a client who has ASD.

“When bad things happen, it can be really hard to ‘look at the bright side.’ A little SPOT of OPTIMISM is a story about how a little spot can show you how to change your negative thoughts into positive ones”. This is something I am trying to teach my son regularly.

One of our therapists recommended we make a ‘toolbox’ to help with sensory and regulation needs for my son. We have this one in blue. I collected all of the little toys from Chucky Cheese, birthday parties, dollar store finds, etc. and put them together in this box for him. When he does not know what to do with himself, we can refer back to the toolbox.

These Chew Necklaces for Sensory Kids are great! Some of my clients use things like this. I just bought these for my son, and so far, he loves them! He used to chew through his shirt or his water bottle straws, and now he has an appropriate product to replace this need.

These Reminder Boards are great for anyone, but especially for children who need extra reminders on what to remember to bring home. I have one on my son’s backpack, so he learns to be independent in remembering to bring home all of the things he needs from school.
